Sadras Fort

Sadras is town located 70 km from Chennai towards the South and was before Sadras is an ancient town of Chadhuranga Pattinam. Sadras was established as part of Dutch Coromandel in the 17th century and was well known for its weaving superfine muslin cloth for exporting.

Dutch Fort The 400-year-old Dutch fort is the prime attraction. Archaeological Survey of India has done wide excavations lately and has restored the fort
Sadras Beach  Sadras beach is an outstanding beach resort that takes advantage of the beautiful landscape.
Sri Malaimandala Perumal temple  This was initially a Lakshmi Narayana temple. Later, named as Varadaraja Perumal temple and its  one of the oldest temples in the region was built in 16th century .
